My morning and evening routines for success!

You’ve heard of these kinds of routines through the Million Dollar Morning, or the Miracle Morning for Network Marketers.

Yep, I’ve read them all too.

In today’s post I share with you my own rendition of my success routines. I have a morning and even routine and I share

My morning routine varies through the week, this is an example of what would be a PERFECT week of mornings.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday you’ll find me at the gym by 6:00 am for an hour workout with my hubby. Going to the gym with your spouse is a great way to stay accountable if their super into working out and you’re not so much ;). 

Tuesday and Thursday the alarm goes off at 5:55 a.m. (I’m a sucker for repeating numbers)

I spend the first 5 or so minutes thinking of as many things as I can that I’m grateful for. This is by far the BEST way to start your day on the right foot and frequency. Even if the only thing you have to be grateful for is the simple fact you woke up, starting your day with gratitude can change everything! My list usual starts with being grateful for my kids, their health, my husband and our health, my home, career and opportunities I’ve been given. I just start listing them out in my head. 

I then take a few minutes to visualize whatever my main goal at that time is. Spending some time in my mind seeing it as done. Your brain and subconscious is really fresh and ready to be imprinted early in the morning so this is an awesome time to spend visualizing future goals. 

Then I get up, brush my teeth, grab a sweater and head down for coffee. 

I still have not looked at my phone by the way… 

Once coffee is ready and in hand, I head to my computer and do my studying. I’m currently a student of Bob Proctor’s Thinking Into Results and I use this early time do my work which requires watching a video and journaling about my goals and vision for my future. The more time you can spend visualizing yourself with your goals as done in your mind the faster you close that gap from where you are to where you want to be.

I try and also get out my instagram post for the day here too but that doesn’t always make the list depending on how smoothly everything is going.

Kids get up and the day begins!  

Now I’ll be super real with you all… this is my BEST CASE SCENARIO here, not always does it work out that way. 

Some days I slip and check my phone before I get my coffee in hand, SOMETHING snags my attention and my morning goes to crap. Or I get distracted by “accidentally” checking facebook and have wasted an hour going down an rabbit hole to no where land.  Don’t judge, you’ve done it too!

In all seriousness, MOST days girlfriends, this is how it looks. This is my frame work, what I strive for every morning and hit it about 70% of the time.

Now my evening routine, that is something I stick to regularly!!

Minus the odd Friday or Saturday night, especially if a glass or two of wine is involved. 

My nightly routine starts after I do the face washing, teeth brushing thing and then slide into bed. 

On my night table lives a notebook and pen. I have a laminated card (yes I own a laminator) that has pictures of my goals printed on it, like a mini vision board. In my notebook I do three things (I learned this from Kathrin Zenkina - Manifestation Babe)

  1. Release.  I start by releasing any worry I have going on in my head. I write out what my worries are and then why I am letting them go. This practice allows your mind to let go of the worry because it believes you’ve got it stored somewhere else now and it no longer has the need to hold onto it any longer. Sounds woo woo but trust me it really works! 

  2. Three Wins. I then write down 3 or 4 wins for the day. Could be anything positive that happened. Simply making dinner for the family could be one. They don’t have to be award winning accomplishments, just something you can say “hey, good job sister”.

  3. Write out my big goal. This you always want to do last, and you want to write it as if its already done. Take 10 to 15 minutes to write out your goal as complete. What does it look like, feel like, who’s with you? Be as detailed as possible. You write this last along side looking at the mini vision board so that it’s the last thing you see and are thinking about before you go to bed. This keeps your goals in your mind as you fall asleep. The time where you start to drift into sleep mode is when your subconscious mind opens up and become the most impressionable. Anything you feed your mind during this time, goes into the subconscious mind as truth and while you sleep your mind goes to work on the how to’s in making it happen. 

The following day you’ll find ideas, thoughts, people, and circumstances coming your way that you may not have seen as opportunities before. This routine helps reprogram your brain for success, to see your goals as done and helps you find the resources to make it happen. 

This I do 90% of my nights. I feel its even more important that my morning routine. 

There you have it girlfriends, that’s my million dollar routine! The key with these routines is to do it consistently enough to create a habit. It will suck at first getting up at 5:55 a.m. if you’re use to getting up at 8:00 a.m. but I promise you you’re brain, business and life will thank you if you can get past the hump. It usually takes about two weeks before this starts to become a routine.
