78. Mel Dodge from Omhale Wellness shares about leaving corporate to live her passion.
Mel left the corporate 9-to-5 and started her own Yoga/Reiki Studio, teaching people who to use breathing, stillness and your spirit guides to find your purpose and give you guidance. We have an amazing chat about all things about being a spiritual gangsta.
Mel is passionate about mind, body and soul wellness. She offers services – coaching, reiki energy healing and yoga – that help align all three facets of you.
Through coaching she’ll help you look at all facets of your life to unite your body, mind and soul to align you more completely to you and your goals. As all aspects of you are interdependent, this means you don’t look at any one component in isolation.
Reiki works on an energetic level, leaving you with a deep sense of relaxation. From this place, you may find clarity and focus.
Yoga helps you connect with your breath and body to find ease in movement and a calmer mind to ease stress.
She spent over 20 years working in various roles in large financial corporations in Canada. It was here, in corporate Canada, that she witnessed people’s wellness and self-care take a backseat until, in many instances, people became too unwell to work.
During stressful times, she turned to yoga, reiki energy healing and her own coach for support. With the knowledge that these techniques alone and in combination eased anxiety along with physical and emotional stress, she focuses on these modalities to help her clients improve their wellbeing to thrive!
